Position Summary
This test engineer position will be responsible for project schedules and estimates, requirements definition and analysis, requirements traceability, requirements validation and verification, and risk management. There will be opportunities in this role to lead and take responsibility and ownership of the testing phase of a project which is developing cutting edge technologies in the government space.
Essential Functions Statements
Must have the ability to design, oversee, and perform software testing on various applications. Must have experience with software development and various software development lifecycle models. Must have excellent documentation skills as well as outstanding interpersonal skills with a customer service mentality.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four () years of additional test engineering experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.
Required Experience:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software System Testing
•Experience with continuous integration tools (i.e. Jenkins, QuickBuild, etc.)
•Experience with Agile software issues tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)
•Experience with Configuration Management version control systems (i.e. SVN, GIT, etc.)
•Experience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, procedures, Test reports
Certificates and Licenses:
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance.
Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employee must be a US citizen.
Employee must be able to have and maintain a Top-Secret SCI with full-scope polygraph
