SUMMARY
Participate in completing regulatory compliance testing and reporting on client products.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet test objectives by determining testing methods and selecting testing equipment. Ensure customer test criteria is correctly interpreted and applied. Interpret and apply applicable test standards.
- Conduct appropriate regulatory compliance tests to determine if the product complies with all applicable requirements.
- Report test results by collecting, analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data. Generate and revise test documents and reports (SOPs, datasheets, methods).
- Assist in identifying and reporting all deviations. Analyze and evaluate test data and characterizes product performance.
- Investigate and resolve testing problems, report and explain deviations and failures.
- Establish and maintain professional relationship with customers.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and respond promptly to their inquiries.
- Meet internal and external customers deadlines as scheduled.
- Maintain confidentially of all client and TUV information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
- Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures used in engineering.
- Good troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automatic testing equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of US and international regulatory standards and approvals requirements.
- Ability to travel to client locations. Driver’s License required.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and/or experience.
