About the Job:
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of our cyber security infrastructure.Roles and Responsibilities:
Designs, implements and maintains cyber security infrastructure to protect company's digital assets.
Conducts regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats.
Develops and implements security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provides technical expertise and support to other teams within the organization on security-related issues.
Participates in incident response and investigate security breaches to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions.
Stays up to date with emerging cyber security threats and technologies and provide recommendations on new security measures to be implemented.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security objectives with business goals.
Participates in the evaluation and testing of new security technologies and products.
Develops and delivers cyber security training and awareness programs to educate employees on cyber security risks and best practices.
Designs, implements, and maintains firewall and other security devices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the network and information systems.
Monitors network traffic and system logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Works with other security professionals to analyze and assess the impact of security threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
High school diploma required, college coursework in computer science, information security, or related field preferred.
At least two years of experience in cyber security engineering and/or related field required.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, Security+, or CEH preferred.
Strong knowledge of cyber security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus, endpoint protection, and data encryption.
Extensive experience with security policies and procedures, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct security assessments and investigations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
