Senior AI Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for passionate and smart AI Engineers to design, develop and maintain state of the art AI solutions while collaborating with other software engineers. In this role you will collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, Front-End Engineers, and AI Engineers to build cloud-native backend systems and infrastructure for new AI-powered applications. Your work will provide the foundations for a new products delivering AI capabilities.

About the Job

We are looking for a passionate Senior AI Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge data products and AI solutions, focusing on making difficult-to-access data sources available through web scraping and document scanning. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, Front-End Engineers, ML Engineers, and AI Engineers to build cloud-native backend systems and infrastructure for new AI-powered applications. Your work will lay the foundations for a new product delivering advanced Data Analytics and AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable AI applications, driving them from concept through to deployment.


• Wherever available, leverage existing APIs and language models to build applications.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative new features.


• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to help them grow.


• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends to ensure continuous innovation.


• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing environment.

Knowledge And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering (or equivalent)
  


• Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI frameworks


• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch


• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI and data products


• Proficiency in Python (or C++, C#, Java) software stack, and tools like JavaScript and Typescript


• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases


• Experience with use Restful API and their integration with the system


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or in a team


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
