We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and executing automated tests using Cypress and performing manual tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both automation and manual software testing methodologies and the ability to work closely with the development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Cypress.
- Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project objectives, gather automation and manual testing requirements, and design comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, analyze, and document bugs during both manual and automated testing phases.
- Enhance and maintain the automated test environment.
- Integrate Cypress scripts with existing testing frameworks and continuous integration systems using GitHub Actions.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies to improve both manual and automated test processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in automation testing using Cypress and manual testing.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript.
- Experience in web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Knowledge in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Jira.
- Highly flexible attitude and ability to quickly shift gears when priorities change.
- Proactively participate in maintaining team standards and best practices.
- Maintain high responsiveness and excellent cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices.
