As our Lead Network Engineer, you’ll oversee the stability, security, and performance of our networks, providing top-tier technical support and leading strategic projects. Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure: Manage and support our LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including all core equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the go-to expert for complex network issues, providing tier 2 and 3 support and leading critical problem resolution.
Project Leadership: Own and lead network projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient execution.
Performance Optimization: Regularly analyze and fine-tune network performance, proactively addressing issues before they impact operations.
Documentation and Tools: Keep network diagrams and procedures current, and use advanced network tools (Open DNS, TACACS+, Infoblox) to maintain robust network services.
24/7 Support: Be available and flexibility to support network operations around the clock, 24x7x365 as needed, including occasional off-hours.
Job Requirements:
Proven Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with deep knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, and DHCP.
Technical Mastery: You’re skilled in Citrix NetScaler (or similar), Cisco, and Fortinet, and you understand network architecture, client/server, and web applications.
Certifications: Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP) preferred.
Problem-Solver: You think ahead, fix problems proactively, and are thorough in following best practices.
Team Player: You communicate well, work effectively across teams, and foster positive relationships.
