About the Role:
As a Hardware Test Engineering Intern at ADT, you will play a key role in our product evaluation process by testing and assessing the performance of hardware products within a broader ecosystem. You will be responsible for executing predefined test scripts, testing hardware functionality, and analyzing results. Additionally, you will capture waveforms and conduct audible sound sampling from various sources. This hands-on role provides valuable experience in the field of test engineering and contributes directly to the quality assurance of ADT’s products.
Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Testing: Conduct tests on product hardware samples to ensure functionality and compliance with performance standards.

Ecosystem Integration: Test hardware products within broader ecosystems to validate their performance in real-world scenarios.

Data Collection: Capture, catalog, and analyze waveforms and audible sound samples from various sources.

Reporting: Meticulously evaluate and document test results, providing insights for product improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a graduation date in 2026.

Electronics Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics and hardware components.

Testing Principles: Familiarity with basic product test engineering principles.

Additional Details:

Compensation: $22/hour for undergraduates, $25/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.

Work Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, Test Engineer Interns work 5 days a week from a lab
- Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship.
- Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 19-July 31, 2025.
