The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is Australia's most awarded 3D Animation, Game Design, Film and Visual FX educator based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Online with a commitment to delivering high quality, specialist vocational and higher education.

AIE is looking for an enthusiastic Game Development Trainer to build school relationships and provide workshops to students and schools. The primary goal is to build meaningful and impactful relationships with clients/stakeholders at on-site and off-site events in WA.

To actively promote AIE's courses to prospective students through schools’ visits, career expos and campus tours. This is the first point of contact and as such the candidate plays a critical role in communicating the strengths and benefits of studying at the AIE. The selected candidate must demonstrate:


  • Event management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching or tutoring others.

  • Knowledge of games design including skills in unreal game engine.

  • Host, present, manage and attend onsite events including school visits, workshops, open days, information evenings and other related duties.

  • Attend relevant student recruitment events including but not limited to job fairs, expos and tradeshows.

  • Travel as required.

  • Excellent public speaking skills, with a demonstrable friendly and positive attitude.

  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

  • Demonstrated experience working within communities, relevant industry or associations, showing the ability to build rapport and client focused relationships.

  • Demonstrated technology skills and the willingness to learn new systems.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing to the operations and working relationships.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

  • Experience in games, film and animation is an advantage.

  • Some knowledge of secondary and tertiary education systems is an advantage.

  • Willingness to undertake TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set.

  • Hold the right to work in Australia.
