Job Summary    


The Full Stack Developer II is a contributor to the development of our highly flexible, web services SAAS platform. This role is a product development role responsible for advancing Datascan’s core product through new capabilities that customers will love.     This role not only includes new application development but maintaining and supporting existing applications.  It is important to be able to deliver quality solutions in a timely fashion.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. 



Duties & Responsibilities    




  •  Develop and maintain web applications using a modern technology stack and a variety of technologies and frameworks. 






  • Collaborate with product owners to gather and refine requirements. 






  • Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions with an intermediate degree of complexity. 






  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements and implement seamless solutions. 






  • Work closely with technical leads to develop new and existing solutions of varying degrees of complexity. 






  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 






  • Develop and implement automated tests to ensure code quality and functionality. 






  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in applications. 






  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers. 






  • Continuously improve development processes and practices. 






  • Continuously learn and improve your skills and knowledge of new technologies and development best practices. 




Qualifications

Qualifications    




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with a minimum of 2 years experience;  or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years experience. 






  • Understanding of technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, jQuery. 






  • Understanding of object-oriented programming. 






  • Good communication and collaboration skills. 






  • Ability to work in a team environment. 






  • Eager to learn new technologies and capable of looking for pragmatic solutions to problems. 






  • Focus on software quality via developer testing and test automation. 






  • Experience with Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Agile and Scrum processes and Jira preferred.  






  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 






  • Understanding of software development principles and methodologies. 






  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

Work Hours    


This position is a remote position with occasional work from the office for business needs.  The position requires on-call support and off-hour availability.
