Position Description:

We are looking for a talented DevOps Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, expertise in DevOps tools and methodologies, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Linux system administration experience (file system manipulation, monitoring and logging, troubleshooting; experience with command line tools)
• Experience with scripting tools (bash, python) and configuration management tools
• Experience with automation and monitoring tools
• Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Grafana, Kibana, etc.)
• Kubernetes and Docker experience with the understanding of deployment, management, and configuration
• Familiarity with software development life cycle models , agile, and DevOps programming methodologies
• Knowledge of security practice, networking protocols, firewalls, PCI compliance, etc.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS) and Apache NiFi is highly desirable

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 14 years or more of professional experience
   

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
