Cyber Security Engineer - DevSecOps (w/ Clearance)

You will design and develop secure solutions to complex application problems that enable IT automation, DevOps, and DevSecOps solutions for an Intelligence Community (IC) through participation in the agency's DevSecOps program. You will assist in the evaluation of the security configuration and code security using SAST and DAST tools. Requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in a DevOps engineering role responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud services in support of the IC
• Apply knowledge of the latest trends in the DevOps industry to support the analytical service contract in the deployment of web services and solutions enabling the automation of data discovery and support higher orders of analysis to implement DevOps practices
• Assist DevOps team members with the development and operationalization of security, and access Cloud requirements
• Support DevSecOps processes and security engineering review of code and IT configuration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 5+ years of experience with development and security; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab/ GitHub and Artifactory or Nexus
• Knowledge of Elastic, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
• Knowledge of service mesh technology such as Istio, Envoy, Prometheus, Clair and Quay is a plus
• Requires DoD 8570 IAT III certification
• Current active TS/SCI clearance required, with a CI polygraph
