**This position requires F-15/F-16 Avionics experience equivalent to flight-line or line maintenance. Applications without this experience will not be considered. 


The Technical Data Engineer II is responsible for the overall execution and day to day operation of all areas of the program related to technical data/content. Ensures production of timely/quality Country Standard Technical Orders (CSTOs). 

Experience:

  • Must possess advanced F-15 knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical field (Avionics, Electrical, Weapons or Crew Chief). 
  • Technical data update experience preferred. 
  • Must be familiar with U.S. Air Force (USAF) field and depot level maintenance activities, USAF technical data, material qualification and acquisition systems, and USAF maintenance policies and programs.

Education: Associate degree in technical field required.  (F-15 Aircraft Maintenance work experience may substitute for the education requirement.  Each 2 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of college.)

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

  • Current driver’s license.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance enabling access to various government facilities and systems.

Special knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in updating repair, inspection and illustrated parts breakdown of Country Standard Technical Orders (CSTO) for F-15 general systems required.
  • Working knowledge of applicable military standards and specifications is required.
  • Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office software preferred. 
  • Must have experience with manuals, i.e., operations, maintenance, illustrated parts breakdowns, job guides, flight manuals, checklists, work cards.
  • Knowledgeable of MIL-STD 38784, TO general style & format required.
  • Ability to write reports & correspondence is required.
