Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development: Must live in Austin/San Antonio, TX.

  • Design, develop, and maintain both the frontend (user interfaces) and backend (server-side logic) of web applications using React, Node.js, and JavaScript.

  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application across the stack.

  • Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces, focusing on creating intuitive and seamless user experiences.

  • Build and maintain robust, scalable back-end services and integrate with Microsoft SQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

  • Develop and implement APIs to enable efficient communication between frontend and backend systems.




Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to the team’s best practices via GitHub.

  • Manage deployments and application scaling in Microsoft Azure.

  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and improve their technical skills.

  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to maintain high coding standards across the team.




Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and JavaScript for full stack development.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL databases.

  • Ability to design and develop intuitive user interfaces with a focus on user experience.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project and documentation management.

  • Solid understanding of GitHub for version control and collaboration.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.




Bonus Points:

  • Experience with UX/UI design principles to independently design and implement user-friendly interfaces.

  • Experience with DevOps practices.

  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
