This position will allow the candidate to join our dynamic team, playing a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing multiple networks and ensuring the highest level of security of our systems.  Your expertise will be key in managing Cisco switches and routers, VPN configurations, ISE (Identity Services Engine), TACLANs (Tactical Local Area Network), DHCP services, fiber, and twisted pair cabling, IPSEC protocols, network design and thorough documentation.   Your contributions will ensure the seamless operation and security of our network infrastructure by implementing and maintain DoD security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), addressing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), and overseeing cyber security measures across our network infrastructure safeguarding our systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities.   This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of network technology and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.




What will you be doing?




This position will be a key member of the infrastructure team.  Duties include:



  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including CISCO switches and Routers, CISCO Firepower, TACLANs, VPNs, DHCP, and Servers

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network projects, including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and integrations

  • Coordinate with management to develop project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues promptly and efficiently

  • Secure Systems by addressing IAVAs and STIG requirements.

  • Produce Network diagrams and comprehensive documentation.

  • Other Related Duties as assigned.




What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?




This position will require the following skillsets and experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field experience

  • Must have a minimum of 10 Years of experience in network administration with expertise in CISCO Systems, Firepower, TACLAN, server and desktop troubleshooting.

  • Strong knowledge of DoD security protocols and experience with DOD related cybersecurity requirements

  • Minimum Security clearance level SECRET

  • Must have CISCO switch and router cli command line experience.

  • Must have CISCO certification

  • Must have minimum Security+ CE certification.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Require skills such as writing, presentations, communication, detail oriented, and works well with others.

  • Effective collaborator in a team environment and self-motivated when working independently.

  • Proficient in producing network diagrams and documentation.

  • Must be US Citizen
