Senior Director, Data Engineering and Machine Learning

Are you an experienced Data Engineer / Machine Learning professional and have experience managing a team providing Data Engineering and ML solutions?  We are seeking a Senior Director / Director of Data to manage a team of 10-15 technical professionals in our organization.  Reporting to this role will be several Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Analysts, BI Developers, and a Project Manager.  This team will likely grow as well as this team is driving many key initiatives for our organization.

To be considered qualified, you will need to have the following skills and experience.

• 10-15 years of Data Engineer / Machine Learning / Data Analytics system/solution development.
• 2-5 years of experience at a Manager or Director level where you are managing technical teams providing MS and Data Engineering solutions.
• Experience working with other business leaders in an organization to understand business needs and solutioning.
• Experience with the following technologies would be a plus: Databricks, Azure, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL Server. For our main business applications, we are a Microsoft shop so thus Azure and SQL Server are typical backend cloud/database technologies we use. 

In this role, you will not only lead and direct data engineering, machine learning solutions but also have a team that is doing complex dashboards and the like providing business solutions to various groups within our organization. 

This is a full-time, direct hire role and we are unable to sponsor so you must be able to work legally for any employer without sponsorship - either now or in the future.  This role is 100% remote but we are looking for individuals that live and work in EST and CST time zones.
