Location: Sydney Western Suburbs 
Salary: $130-150k Package + benefits

Role Overview
Reporting to an executive leader, this position will be an integral part of the maturity phase of the national data team. Acting as a conduit to multiple specialised data teams and the business, you will work across a portfolio of data initiatives, lead assessments and evaluations and be the engagement point for coordination, communication across the business unit.  Utilising your technical background you will work closely with data engineers and engage with multiple stakeholders in the business.


Responsibilities 


  • Solutioning and problem solving for commercial teams.

  • Ideation of data and analytics based workstreams

  • Executing on strategic initiatives aimed at achieving organizational objectives within a data practice.

  • Providing input into development and implementation of policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.

  • Analysing market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Upholding ethical standards and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all business practices.

  • Evaluating performance metrics and financial indicators to assess the effectiveness of strategies and suggest adjustments as necessary.

Candidate Profile


  • Proven success solutioning and problem solving for commercial teams.

  • Technical background in Data & Analytics including Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Visualisation

  • Strong ability and approach to thinking about and solving challenging problems

  • Ability to coordinate with Data Engineers and major stakeholders.

  • Experience within Retail, Supply chain or Manufacturing is high desirable

  • Strong Powerpoint and slide creation skills

  • Professional communication skills are essential
