Job Overview Title: Sr. Test Engineer Job Family: Engineering Reports to: R & D Director Works with: Mid-level Managers, Technicians, Engineers and Production employees Location: Camden, AR, USA Type: Full Time Job Summary Requires basic principles of science, engineering, and mathematics to maintain and improve test capabilities for the Main Site Test Facility. Responsible for developing test processes and identifying the proper test equipment to meet internal and external product acceptance testing requirements. Maintains and continuously improves product testing processes. Primary Responsibilities
Sets up and uses various machines, fixtures and equipment for testing of the product, including Infrared detectors, load cells, pressure transducers, high-speed cameras, pitot tubes, etc.
Conducts organized and accurate experiments.
Conducts correlation studies or validation of replacement/upgrade equipment to ensure accuracy and continuity of data collection.
Accurately collects data, records, and reports results.
Ensure proper operation of all instrumentation, test and measuring equipment. This may include conducting repair, routine maintenance, and installation of new equipment or ensuring that the operations are executed. Some electronics design work can be expected. Troubleshoot complex electronic systems consisting of multiple components and instruments.
Calibrate test equipment.
Set-up, execute, and report on protective shielding testing in accordance with MIL-STD-398 and DOD 4145.
Design, fabricate, and install test fixtures and systems. Repair existing fixtures, and maintain a spare parts inventory as needed.
Assist in establishing test methods and writing test procedures.
Assist in performing tests as needed.
Perform test data analysis.
Write reports of product testing and special test related subjects.
Looking for and leading continuous improvement opportunities in testing and in manufacturing processes.
Setting up databases and standard processes for analysis and application of process and test data.
Interpret specifications (internal and external) in support of the Test function.
Manage Test department improvement projects.
Maintains the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications
Must possess technical skills, interpersonal skills such as good communication and writing skills and have excellent organizational skills
Must be a team player, who can work independently and support all product requirements.
Must have a clear understanding of safety rules and regulations.
Must be able to obtain a US DOD Secret security clearance.
Must have general computer skills. (MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Education/Previous Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college.
Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in a Testing environment.
A combination of higher education and work experience equaling the equivalent experience may substitute.
Experience working with and troubleshooting electronics equipment.
Pro/E or other CAD experience preferred.
Matlab/Labview experience a plus.
Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) experience a plus.
X-ray program management and/or certifications a plus.
