Job Description

Overview

It is highly desirable to have at least five (5) years of relevant experience and knowledge, and possesses the initiative to work autonomously. Personnel are expected to have the experience working in, and the ability to operate effectively in complex ICT Projects.  Such as;

Major Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, build, test and operation of networks services in a multi-vendor environment;


• Conduct requirement traceability and prioritisation activities, and determine the feasibility of individual requirements in order to support the design of elements of the system;


• Plan the configuration, implementation, automation and testing of an enterprise gateway environment, adhering to security policy and compliance;


• Provide assistance in the development, support and management of monitoring systems for networks;


• Implement, configure, and maintain (including leading change activities), of switches, routers and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment;


• Experience in the operation and management of a gateway environment;


• Experience automating networks through Infrastructure as Code;


• Provide support to the Technical Leadership team.

Location: This role is based in Canberra, ACT.

Contract terms: 12 months with 2x 12 month extension option available.

Security Requirements:  Candidates require an active TSPV clearance, or have had the clearance downgraded in the last 12 months. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client requested checks.

SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes at a SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
