Resideo is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Engineer II to lead the establishment of a new mechanical design and test team for our Water portfolio at our Golden Valley facility. This is a pivotal role that involves creating and executing robust testing methodologies for our Water product line, ensuring that our designs meet customer needs and industry standards.
JOB DUTIES:

Test Development: Design, modify, and implement test equipment solutions, including hardware and software programs using LabVIEW and other relevant testing languages

Team Leadership: Collaborate with Senior Engineers and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies that align with product requirements

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Implement changes and verify results to ensure quality and performance

Lab Management: Set up and maintain test benches and equipment, ensuring proper integration and functionality for accurate testing outcomes

Verification and Validation: Conduct thorough verification and validation processes to confirm that products meet all specifications and customer requirements

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and modifications. Create clear and concise test reports to present findings to stakeholders

Customer Support: Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related inquiries and assist in troubleshooting efforts

Continuous Improvement: Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and product design
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical test engineering and developing mechanical tests (preferably in the water product sector/industry)
- Proven professional experience in test automation and robotic processes, with hands-on experience in relevant tools
