Machine Learning Researcher

Medeloop seeks a Machine Learning Researcher with a strong theoretical foundation in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and healthcare applications. You will play a critical role in developing innovative AI models to address complex challenges in medical research and healthcare data. Collaborating closely with our CTO and a multidisciplinary team, you will influence Medeloop’s technological advancements and help position the company as a leader in AI-driven healthcare solutions.

The ideal candidate will have both strong academic credentials and hands-on research experience, particularly in developing and publishing impactful work in machine learning. You will design, prototype, and test advanced machine learning models, contributing to the future of AI in medical research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Development: Lead the exploration and development of advanced machine learning models and algorithms tailored to healthcare data challenges.
• Publication & Thought Leadership: Conduct groundbreaking research and contribute to high-impact publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CTO, engineering teams, and researchers to translate cutting-edge ideas into practical solutions.
• Model Development: Design, implement, and validate machine learning models for large-scale, high-impact healthcare datasets.
• Customer-Centric Innovation: Engage with healthcare professionals and researchers to understand their challenges and develop tailored AI solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of advancements in machine learning, contributing to Medeloop’s thought leadership in AI for healthcare.
• Scalable Systems: Contribute to the design of robust, scalable, and compliant systems for data processing and analysis.

Who You Are:

• Educational Background:
  • PhD strongly preferred in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • A robust understanding of theoretical machine learning, mathematical modeling, and statistical methods.
• Research & Industry Expertise:
  • 3/5 years of experience in machine learning, with a proven ability to bridge theoretical insights and industry applications.
  • Strong publication record in leading AI or machine learning conferences/journals is highly desirable.
  • Experience in healthcare, biotech, or regulated industries is a plus but not mandatory.
• Technical Mastery:
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and foundational mathematical tools (e.g., NumPy, SciPy).
  • Strong grounding in areas such as reinforcement learning, probabilistic models, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with large-scale data systems.
