The Houston Astros baseball organization is seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Application Developer to join our Software Development team within the Research and Development department. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining internal applications that support decision making and important job functions across Baseball Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development and will work closely with the Software Development team, the wider R&D department, and stakeholders to deliver impactful tools that provide a competitive advantage in the baseball landscape.

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit (for long periods of time); use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift or move equipment, up to 20 pounds.

Some travel may be expected in this role.
