Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities: Participate in the development of web-based geographic information systems (GIS) applications using React/DRF/Django and related tools. Work closely with a core team of developers as part of a cross- functional, distributed US Government team responsible for the full software development life cycle of these products. The successful candidate will be driven to remain current on the latest techniques/ technologies and have experience developing both front-end and back-end applications, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

• Develop interfaces and features using React and TypeScript and API Endpoints using the DRF.
• Maintain interfaces and develop features using Django, Jinja templates, and jQuery.
• Maintain and develop Oracle databases.
• Review code and test features and interfaces; incorporate detailed technical documentation.
• Apply problem solving skills and sophisticated design to complex applications.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: From $75K - $90K per year based on experience and qualifications.
• Schedule: M-F, 8-hrs/day

• 3+ years’ experience with coding in Python
• 1 to 5 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer, or related coursework, working in Python, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and web servers (Apache)
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability multitask, prioritize, and complete work within schedule.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
