Front End Developer

We are looking for a hybrid Front End Developer focused on enhancing website functionality, creating integrations across platforms, and coordinating development activities performed by external consultants. In this role you'll understand company goals to improve user experiences across digital applications and driving online revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of core websites and digital solutions.
• Consolidate multiple customer-facing websites into a unified platform utilizing a shared technology stack.
• Collaborate closely with vendors, marketing, and IT teams to advance the company’s digital roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Offer technical architecture recommendations to align with business goals.
• Support omni-channel marketing campaigns by building landing pages, configuring page tagging, managing web forms, and tracking leads through Salesforce.
• Manage the configuration and implementation of eCommerce platforms and content management systems (CMS).
• Carry out hands-on development tasks, including creating new features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Maintain a prioritized development backlog and release schedules that align with organizational objectives.
• Coordinate and lead stand-up meetings with vendors, ensuring effective management and direction of development activities.
• Implement SEO strategies to enhance page performance, page load speed, and core web vitals.
• Conduct and facilitate quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Prior experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Commerce is essential.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years developing B2B and B2C eCommerce websites.
• Subject Matter Knowledge: Deep understanding of best practices for eCommerce in B2B, B2C, and B2B2C business models with complex account relationships.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern web development tools and languages such as JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
• UX and Responsive Design: Experience creating responsive, mobile-first designs while adhering to UX best practices.
• Integrations: Hands-on experience integrating multiple technology solutions, including eCommerce platforms, CMS, PIM, DAM, marketing automation, analytics, tag management, IAM, and LMS systems.
• API-Driven Development: Familiarity with headless eCommerce and API-first development environments.
• Project Coordination: Experience managing third-party vendors and coordinating development schedules.
• Personalization and Testing: Proven ability to implement on-site personalization strategies, A/B testing, and SEO best practices to boost web performance.
• AI Tools: Experience using AI-driven tools to streamline coding processes.
