(Includes Data Modeler, Data Miner.)  Responsible for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding and drawing conclusions from data (may be presented in charts, graphs, and/or tables).  Also, design and develop relational databases for collecting and storing data and build and design data input and data collection mechanisms.  




 


Required Skills and Experience:




 


You are responsible for data related activities such as data extraction, profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, standardization, conversion, transformation and loading, data mining, warehousing, archiving and reporting. Responsible for all activities required to ensure optimum performance and data integrity of databases in production environments, in line with the requirements.  Responsible for server based databases in development and test environments including database software installation, database creation, performance and capacity design, backup and recovery design, security design.




 


• Qualifications\:  3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.


• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.


• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.

Qualifications 


• 5+ years of related work experience in the areas of Master Data Management.  This should include two or more of the following – Data Quality, Metadata Management, ETL/Integration, MDM (any domain), Data Visualization or Data Governance

• Candidate should have a good understanding of data management concepts (data governance, data modeling, data quality, data lineage, master data management, metadata management, data analytics, etc.)

• Experience with Enterprise Data Governance and/or data analysis is required

• Understand data profiling with reporting and related documentation 

• Experience analyzing data sets or data results (e.g. profiling results, results reporting) to draw inferences and identify adherence, or lack thereof, to business requirements.

• Proficiency in creating source-to-target mapping, including handling complex taxonomies

• Experience working with data within databases and reporting tools.

• Hands-on experience with Enterprise MDM tools like Informatica, IBM, Talend, Tibco MDM, Reltio, Stibo, Riversand, etc. 

• Able to communicate effectively, comfortable engaging with clients 1 to 1 and presenting in client presentations and can lead client workshops/discussions

• Able to write well, compose clear documentation and artifacts

• Previous experience with data quality tools and SQL/queries

• Able to learn new skills quickly 

• Ability to excel in a performance-based environment 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study

• MUST be willing to travel extensively, up to 100%


Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
