Currently, we are partnered with a premier military and defense industry client in San Antonio in search of a highly talented Senior Data Engineer to support critical national security missions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable database systems that support mission-critical operations


• Lead the development of data integration solutions across multiple platforms and technologies


• Architect and optimize database structures for maximum performance and reliability


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into technical solutions


• Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and processes


• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data assets


• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures


• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data processing and analysis

Qualifications:

• Current, active TS/SCI clearance


• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or related field


• Strong foundation in database design principles and best practices


• Experience with Python, Scala, and SQL


• Track record of implementing enterprise-level database solutions


• Knowledge of web application development and integration


• Understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
