Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and optimizing databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating well-structured database schemas and continuously optimizing them to maintain high performance and data integrity.

Skills and Qualifications

• Schema Design: Design and develop database schemas that align with application requirements, including the creation of tables, relationships, and indexes. Optimize the database structure for maximum performance.
• Database Optimization: Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance by writing efficient queries, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring scalability to handle large volumes of data.

Location and Contract Term

The contract period is 6 months, with a view to extend. The position is based in Sydney, NSW.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold current NV1 Security Clearance.
