About the role

As a Cyber Security Engineer with our partner, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding critical digital assets. Your role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures that protect our partner's infrastructure from cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute security strategies to fortify our partner's digital landscape
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
  • Develop and manage security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection
  • Lead incident response efforts, swiftly addressing and mitigating security breaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across the organization
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging cyber threats and innovative security solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on security matters to leadership and stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on infrastructure and application security
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security frameworks
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and security tools
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are highly valued
  • Strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
